Flash development - Webstream PR
More recently the use of Flash development has been expanded into the area of usb and cd-rom authoring. Flash development has now overtaken traditional products such as Director, especially since Adobe bought out Macromedia (Flash's creators) in 2006.
Since its introduction in 1996, Flash development technology has become a popular method for adding animation and interactivity to web pages; to create animation, advertisements, web page components and forms, and to integrate video into web pages.
The significance of this is that most professional web development and multimedia companies use Adobe products such as Acrobat and Photoshop for the design work that goes into web sites and cd-roms.
When Adobe purchased Macromedia, it began to integrate all these products together, and developed Flash further as a program which can be used as an authoring product for multiple media formats.
